Arno Collective imagery is set up as a triple photo Arno work from September to November involved local photographers, international photographers and young photographers. The project is developed on the relationship between Florence and its most important natural element, the river, and returns a collective imaginary reconstruction around it, through three distinct exhibition moments. The final exhibition with the participation of three major international photographers, Arno Minkkinen, Massimo Vitali and Jay Wolke interpreted the city of Florence through its backbone, the Arno, and have produced a series of new works. Focus of the Arno Minkkinen research is the anthropomorphized landscape and the relationship between the human figure and the element of water. A combinatorial system that holds together visually the different souls of the river, however, is at the center of production of Jay Wolke, while Massimo Vitali looks at the relationship between citizens and the river as time aggregation. The photographers will present their work in the spaces of Le Murate. Projects Contemporary Art.
